My Leica Q2 Review: 2 Years Later

Living with the Leica Q2 and using it almost two years now in a varierty of situations, I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with this camera.

Firstly, the Leica Q2 is a compact full-frame camera with a 47.3 megapixel sensor, which is great for capturing highly detailed images. On the design, the Leica Q2 is both sleek and durable, with a rugged magnesium alloy body that can withstand the rigors of daily use. The camera is also equipped with a fixed 28mm f/1.7 Summilux lens, which is perfect for capturing wide-angle shots and has excellent low-light capabilities.

One of the standout features of the Leica Q2 is its autofocus system, which is lightning-fast and accurate. This is especially useful when trying to capture fast-moving subjects or in low-light conditions where manual focus can be a bit tricky. Additionally, the camera has a high-resolution electronic viewfinder that makes it easy to compose shots in bright sunlight.

Another notable feature of the Leica Q2 is its weather-sealed body, which makes it ideal for shooting in all kinds of weather conditions. The camera is also built to last, with a solid aluminum body and high-quality construction.

One of my favorite features of the Leica Q2 is its built-in electronic viewfinder, which provides a clear and detailed preview of your shot before you even take it. The camera also has a large and responsive touchscreen display, which makes it easy to review and edit your photos on the go.

The Leica Q2 is also packed with useful features and functions, such as built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, which allows you to easily transfer your photos to your smartphone or tablet for editing and sharing. The camera also has a range of creative shooting modes and filters, which make it easy to experiment with different styles and effects.

The Leica Q2 also has a variety of shooting modes, including aperture priority, shutter priority, and manual mode, which gives you complete control over your images. Additionally, the camera has a built-in Wi-Fi module, which allows you to easily transfer your images to your smartphone or computer for editing and sharing.

Overall, the Leica Q2 is an excellent camera for everyday use, whether you're a professional photographer or a hobbyist. Its compact size, high-quality construction, and advanced features make it a top choice for anyone looking for a premium point-and-shoot camera.
