Using a Rangefinder Camera - Leica M11

As a passionate photography enthusiast, I decided to switch things up and try using a rangefinder camera after years of shooting with a DSLR. You can check out my thoughts on the Leica M11 for more. I've been using my Leica M11 rangefinder camera for the past few months, and I have to say that I'm thoroughly impressed with its performance.

One of the things that immediately drew me to the rangefinder camera is its compact size and portability. I can easily carry it around with me wherever I go, and it doesn't weigh me down like a bulky DSLR would. The minimalist design of the camera is also something that I appreciate, as it allows me to focus solely on my subject without being distracted by too many buttons and settings.

The manual focus system of the rangefinder camera took some getting used to, but I quickly fell in love with the precision and accuracy it offers. The rangefinder mechanism allows me to focus on my subject with incredible accuracy, and I can easily nail the focus on even the most challenging of shots. The quiet shutter release also comes in handy when I need to be discreet while shooting.

Another aspect of the rangefinder camera that I enjoy is the unique shooting experience it offers. Unlike a DSLR, where you're looking through the lens, with a rangefinder camera, you're looking through a separate viewfinder. This takes some getting used to, but it allows me to be more aware of my surroundings and capture moments that I may have otherwise missed.

Overall, my experience with the Leica M10-P rangefinder camera has been fantastic. It has challenged me to become a better photographer by forcing me to slow down and think about my shots, and it has allowed me to capture moments in a way that a DSLR simply couldn't. If you're looking for a camera that offers a unique shooting experience and exceptional image quality, I would highly recommend giving a rangefinder camera a try.
